Quebec last week has pledged five million dollars to grow the Bota Bota floating spa the waterfront spa in Montreal.
The cash is set to fund a second boat for the fleet. Visitor numbers have been climbing, prompting the move, as reported by local media said. The province still not released any more financial data.
Work is scheduled to start this spring, later this season, and the new vessel should to be operating by early 2027. Officials say the expanded space will cut wait times and lift tourism revenue. The newly added capacity is expected to ease crowding during peak days.
