Toronto police have arrested two members of the Canadian Armed Forces on charges involving organised crime and kidnapping, the Department of National Defence confirmed. The arrests were made in Toronto and both soldiers were taken off active duty shortly after.
The DND said it is cooperating fully with the ongoing police investigation. No further details about the charges or the identities of the soldiers have been released.
