Chase Elliott hit the wall on Sunday at the Brickyard 400. He came home in 26th place. The vehicle hit hard but Elliott stated the damage remained minor. Subsequently, Alex Bowman said he will retire after 2027. Bowman’s exit creates a seat that may go to Conner Zilisch in 2028. Elliott only talked about Bowman after his own crash, and avoided any driver reshuffle talk.
