Award-winning historian and La Trobe University Professor Clare Wright OAM has been appointed Chair of the Council of the National Museum of Australia
www.miragenews.comClare Wright attended public events, as an author and historian, famed for The Forgotten Rebels of Eureka (2013), offering women’s perspectives on the Eureka Rebellion. She has produced ABC history programs, such as Utopia Girls and The War That Changed Us. With a PhD from Melbourne, she is a professor at La Trobe University, heading public history projects at La Trobe serving on the NMA Council since 2022. In 2020 she received the Medal of the Order of Australia. for her services to literature and historical research.
