Daniel Dae Kim has been a dedicated advocate for Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) representation. As an advocate, he has testified before Congress to support the Covid-19 Hate Crimes Act, which aimed to address rising hate crimes against AAPI individuals during the pandemic. Additionally, Kim helped establish The Asian American Foundation (TAAF), a non-profit organization that aims to boost AAPI advocacy funding through strategic investments. In his professional career, Kim has also ventured into producing, with his company 3AD producing the popular medical drama The Good Doctor. Furthermore, he has continued to pursue his passion for acting, making a notable appearance on Broadway in the 2024 production of Yellow Face.
