Daniel Tupou has retired from the NRL just days after the Sydney Roosters won the title. The winger leaves the sport as a four-time premiership winner, all earned with the Roosters, having never suited up for a rival team.
The Roosters admitted to being "lost for words" at his departure. Tupou's whole playing life was spent in red, white and blue, cementing his place as one of the most loyal one-club players in the competition's recent memory.
