Prince William visited in July 2023 to view the nursery extension, glasshouse, and gardens. Funds from the Duchy support the Duke’s public, private, and charitable activities. The nursery lies within the Duchy estate forming a key estate operation within Duchy lands which began public access in 1975. Growth over 50 years has expanded the site. The nursery is among the South West’s most respected nurseries. The Duchy nursery continues to expand facilities including a new extension and maintains a focus on nature and horticulture.
