'No Material Impact': Infosys On Trump's Green Card Crackdown - NDTV

U.S. Suspends Green Card Path for Major Tech Workers

The United States has halted PERM labor certification for eight major tech companies, blocking a primary green card pathway for H-1B visa holders. The move affects a large number of Indian nationals working in the sector, who rely on that process to apply for permanent residency.

Indian IT firm Infosys says it does not foresee material impact from the suspension. The broader tech industry is warning that the crackdown could prompt skilled foreign workers to consider Canada, Australia, or other countries instead of the U.S.
