Users worldwide report problems with Instagram such as login failures and delayed updates. Downdetector data shows a sharp rise in outage reports now noted. All the app and website appear affected simultaneously. Meta has yet to release a statement about this outage as of 22 July 2026. Cases reported have been noted across Facebook, Messenger and Instagram at the same time.
