Junior Caminero closed out Friday night's game with a home run. The ball cleared the fence against the Houston Astros. That hit clinched a playoff spot for the Tampa Bay Rays. The Rays had beaten Atlanta 7-2 earlier in the same week. That contest was played on Wednesday, Sept. 9. Caminero also took part in a youth baseball fundraiser put on by Suncoast Credit Union. The New York Times asked whether he belongs among the game's all-time greats. The Rays go to their next game. They keep playing.
