The stop happened following a high-speed chase in which police pursued the vehicle. Social media users incorrectly tagged the passenger as popular streamer Kai Cenat. Multiple outlets, including The Times of India, Men's Journal, Hindustan Times, and KTALnews, made clear the man in the video is not Cenat. TheGrio reported the passenger is a former Division I basketball player, not the streamer. Separately, Complex reported that Cenat shared news about Vivet's inaugural fashion show in New York City.
