Michael Taaffe earned his first NFL start. He left with his first career interception. The Miami Dolphins rookie safety grabbed a pass from Kirk Cousins to open the half. Taaffe was used at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was not in the starting pair. The interception happened on the drive that opened the half. It gave Miami the ball on the opening possession of the half. Kirk Cousins later threw his third touchdown. That gave them a lead of 24-13 at that stage. Taaffe's takeaway stood as the rookie's maiden NFL interception of the game.
