Latest News About Pastor Tony Spell in Custody Following Altercation with Neighbor

Louisiana pastor Tony Spell was taken into custody on Tuesday after police claimed he had attacked a 20-year-old neighbor in Central. Spell maintained that the teenager had allegedly threatened to rape and kill his wife, prompting Spell to engage him. The family shared video footage that illustrates the two men exchanging blows on a street. Central police chief Christopher Kauffman stated that law enforcement handled the situation properly and rejected Spell’s claim that police did not act to keep the peace. Spell stood by his assertion that his actions were a direct response the alleged threats. He is still in jail awaiting charges.
