Day two of the Ponoka Stampade ended early. A drone struck two people near the chuckwagon arena, and organizers pulled the chuckwagon races and the World Professional Chuckwagon Association show. The incident forced one safety check of every aircraft flying over the fairgrounds.
Officials stated extra inspections will run ahead of night three. following that, the evening will feature a Professional Bull Riders competition, and fans may enter once the checks are finished. The stampede is meant to stay safe and on schedule.
