The San Jose Sharks last faced the Boston Bruins. A young attacker Ivar Stenberg scored his first career NHL goal in the game. The strike was past goalie Jeremy Swayman. The team is now preparing for its yearly-once-a-year Hockey Fights Cancer night. The event is scheduled on mid-November. It will focus on cancer awareness and support for those affected. The initiative is part of a league-wide campaign for the upcoming season.
