The rocket’s upper stage and booster executed a clean separation during ascent.
Both stages later achieved soft splashdowns, one in the Gulf of Mexico and second in the Indian Ocean.
Engineers called the water landings as the least jarring yet.
A separate rocket engine issue forced a previous abort on July 24.
The the operator also deployed advanced Starlink satellites as payload for the experimental run.
