Ryan Fox closed out the tournament by a single shot after a nervy birdie on the final green. Cameron Young stamped his authority early with a strong charge on the front nine. Fox grabbed the lead with a clutch putt in the home straight. Tommy Fleetwood finished just outside of a playoff spot. Fox got off the major board at last on a tough Open layout. Relentless winds never eased up on the duneland course. Years of narrow misses finally gave way to glory on Sunday for the Kiwi.
