Zverev and Rybakina each took home $5.5 million from the 2026 US Open. This represented the biggest payday for singles. The payout arrived on Sept. 13. Both players took their finals that day. Zverev took the men's title. Rybakina took the women's title.

The $5.5 million represented the tournament's largest payout. Nobody else got a bigger check. The champions were paid the same. There existed no gap between men and women. Every check was identical. The tournament awarded that sum to each winner.
