Thomas Harvey Walker, 87, of Maynardville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Life and Career
After serving honorably as a sergeant in the Military Police, Tommy dedicated 52 years to working in the family business, Mynatt’s Furniture. His life was marked by hard work, faith, and devotion to his loved ones.
Family and Legacy
One of Tommy’s greatest blessings was meeting and marrying Jewel Mynatt Walker, his beloved wife of 67 years. His love for his family and community was evident in everything he did. He found joy in his church, farm life, and helping others.

Funeral Arrangements
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM. Friends and family will gather again on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the same chapel before traveling together to Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service.
