Flinders Port Holdings presented a unique custom-built float at the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant in Adelaide, showcasing the significance of maritime trade in bringing festive cheer to South Australians.
The pageant begins at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, 8 November, marked by the traditional golden whistle. Since 1933, this event has symbolized the start of the Christmas season in South Australia, attracting thousands of spectators along Adelaide’s streets.
“We’re thrilled to finally unveil our FPH float.”
“The float celebrates the vital role maritime trade plays in bringing festive joy, and presents, to South Australians each year.”
The company’s new float is the first custom-built entry to join the parade in five years. It showcases a replica of one of FPH’s Pilot boats, surrounded by straddle carriers, containers, and cheerful FPH elves preparing Christmas gifts. The blue fabric base creates the effect of the boat gliding through the water.
Earlier this week, FPH held an official launch of the float at Outer Harbor, where employees and FPH elves joined in the celebration and festivities.
Flinders Port Holdings brought maritime spirit to Adelaide’s iconic Christmas Pageant, combining tradition with creativity to celebrate the joy of the season.
