Joji officially revealed his fourth studio album, Piss In The Wind, alongside the release of his latest single and music video, “If It Only Gets Better.”
“If It Only Gets Better” blends acoustic guitar and syncopated bass, creating an atmospheric sound that reflects Joji's lo-fi origins. The video, directed by James Mao, contrasts energetic club visuals with subdued, introspective lyrics, reminiscent of Joji’s hit “YEAH RIGHT.”
The album follows the quiet release of “PIXELATED KISSES,” a single that quickly gained tens of millions of streams worldwide and charted on the Billboard Hot 100, Top 200, and Pop charts.
Piss In The Wind is set to be released on February 6, 2026.
“The track serves as an evocative bridge between Joji’s past and present, weaving a foundation of acoustic guitar and syncopated bass into a rich, atmospheric production that hints at his lo-fi roots.”
“The James Mao-directed video offers a stylistic nod to his breakthrough, ‘YEAH RIGHT,’ contrasting frenetic, club-ready visuals with reflective, minimal lyrics.”
Author’s summary: Joji’s new album, Piss In The Wind, arriving February 2026, continues to showcase his evolution with a fresh single blending acoustic and lo-fi elements, highlighted by a visually striking video.
