The Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 are approaching in less than 100 days, and both Team Canada and Team Finland have presented their new hockey uniforms.
The upcoming tournament, running from February 11 to 22, will mark the first time since 2014 that NHL players participate in the Winter Olympics. Both national teams shared their "home" and "away" jersey designs on social media on Thursday.
Canada introduced two versions of its jersey: a white design featuring a red maple leaf at the center crest, and a red design displaying a black maple leaf.
Each Finland jersey proudly carries the national crest: a crowned lion, its right foreleg replaced by an armored human arm wielding a sword, while its hind legs trample a saber.
The men’s Olympic hockey tournament begins on February 11, opening with Team Slovakia facing Team Finland, followed by Team Sweden meeting host Team Italy. Every one of the 12 participating teams will play three preliminary-round games within their groups before entering a single-elimination playoff stage culminating in the gold medal game.
