Toronto’s Longest-Running Free Film Festival Offers More Than Movies

The 23rd annual Regent Park Film Festival will be held in Toronto from November 27 to 30, showcasing four days of free films, creative workshops, and community events. This long-standing celebration is the city’s oldest free film festival and continues to expand beyond cinema alone.

“Regent Park Film Festival (RPFF) is an award-winning, community-based, charitable organization,” said the RPFF team. “RPFF amplifies and centres marginalized communities and their stories. We believe everyone should be able to make and experience film and art, regardless of their financial status.”

This year’s lineup features 43 films that explore the everyday acts of care that support individuals and communities through both loss and joy. The program also includes artist talks and opportunities for local engagement.
