About the Speaker

Maria Johnson Narveson owns Point of Renewal Integrated Health in Rice Lake. She holds a doctorate in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Her practice began in Excelsior, Minnesota, while living in the Twin Cities area, but after her daughter was born, she decided to relocate to a smaller community.

“I grew up in a smaller town and said, ‘If I’m going to start a practice, let’s find a place where we want to go.’”

She and her husband sought a location between his hometown in Minnesota and her hometown, Holcombe, Wisconsin, ultimately choosing Rice Lake to establish her clinic.
