Astana, November 3, 2025 — Kazakhstan’s national robotics team reached a remarkable milestone on November 1, winning its fourth consecutive world championship title at the FIRST Global Challenge 2025 held in Panama City.
Competing against 190 teams from around the world, the Kazakh students not only claimed first place but also captured the competition’s two most prestigious awards.
The 2025 championship theme, Eco-Equilibrium, highlighted solutions for environmental sustainability and biodiversity preservation. The Kazakh team presented a robot engineered to remove barriers preventing ecosystem renewal, strategically deploy biodiversity units across multiple field zones, and successfully complete the demanding final task that earned the highest score.
