The long-awaited follow-up to Rosalía’s MOTOMAMI arrived earlier than planned, just hours after she teased it last week with the single “Berghain,” featuring Björk and Yves Tumor. Fans in her hometown of Barcelona were the first to experience the new record live during a special performance last night.
LUX was created in collaboration with the London Symphony Orchestra and includes guest appearances from Carminho, Estrella Morente, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Yahritza, and the Escolania de Montserrat i Cor Cambra Palau de la Música Catalana, alongside Björk and Yves Tumor. The physical edition of the album comes with exclusive bonus tracks, while the main version is available for streaming.
“Berghain,” the only single previewed before the release, merges Rosalía’s experimental pop with bold orchestral and electronic influences.
Listeners eagerly await how Rosalía’s blend of flamenco roots, orchestral soundscapes, and avant-garde production shapes her next artistic chapter.
Rosalía surprises fans with the early release of LUX, a bold orchestral project blending classical and experimental collaborations that spotlight her evolving artistry.
