In September 2021, College Station police responded to a hospital report involving a teenage sexual assault victim. The victim identified Perry, who was found at the crime scene—an abandoned apartment.
During his plea, Perry also admitted guilt to several other felony charges, including domestic violence assault, theft, and drug possession.
According to online jail records, this incident marked Perry’s 23rd arrest in ten years.
