Footy great Brendan Fevola shared that he experienced a startling home invasion over the weekend, fearing that he and his family were in danger of being robbed. The father of four had been getting ready to take his youngest daughter, Tobi, rollerskating when the unusual event occurred.
As Fevola and his family were leaving the house, he turned around and was shocked to see an elderly woman and her dog standing in his hallway.
“Oh my god, I’ve had an intruder,” the former Carlton and Brisbane star told the Fifi, Fev and Nick show. “I turn around and see this old lady with a dog walking into our house with a dog and the dog just comes in and I go: ‘Hello?’”
Fevola’s first reaction was alarm, suspecting the woman might be scouting his house, especially since it was Halloween weekend.
“I was like: ‘Is this person scoping my house out? Get old people to come into my house and see what you’ve got and later on you get robbed.’ I was like: ‘Is this a set-up?’”
Brendan Fevola confronted an unexpected home invasion when an elderly woman entered his house with her dog, causing him to fear for his family's safety and suspect a potential setup.
