Pete Davidson shared in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE what it would take for him to return to Saturday Night Live. The comedian and actor, who joined the show at age 20 in 2014 and left in 2022, expressed his willingness to come back if asked.

A Lasting Connection with Studio 8H

Davidson says he will always consider Studio 8H a home. At 31, he emphasized his strong bond with the show and its creator, Lorne Michaels.

"I'd do anything for Lorne," Davidson revealed, explaining that if the SNL creator and long-time executive producer invited him back, he would accept.
"I had a great time hosting last time, and anytime you get that call, it's an honor and a privilege," he added. "It's always relevant, it's a hot show. People look forward to it, and the cast is great."
"I owe that guy my life. So I'd do anything for Lorne, and he knows that," Davidson said, also mentioning his current partnership with Amazon for Alexa+.

Davidson joined Saturday Night Live in its 40th season (2014-2015) as one of the youngest cast members at the age of 20. Over the years, he became a well-known figure on the show before departing in 2022.
