The Grayson County Historical Society has recently announced a collaboration with Kaili Logdson, a recent graduate of Grayson County High School, to create art prints depicting historical buildings and landscapes throughout the county.
Kaili Logdson is building upon a collection of 15 historical sketches originally drawn in the early 1980s by the late Nancy Young Robinson and her first husband, Paul Young. In addition to expanding this series, Logdson plans to illustrate several other historic sites in the county—both past and present—that were not covered in the original works.
All proceeds from these sales will be shared equally between the historical society and Kaili Logdson.
“The Historical Society is excited to partner with such a talented young local artist as Kaili, and work with her to further her artistic endeavors,” officials said in the announcement.
Kaili’s work includes detailed sketches like her rendering of the Green Mansion at Falls of Rough, capturing the historical essence of Grayson County’s heritage.
This partnership highlights a community effort to preserve historical landmarks through contemporary art, while supporting local talent and enriching county heritage.
