South Korean singer Hyuna, 33, raised concerns about her health after fainting during her performance at the Waterbomb music festival in Macau on November 9, 2025.
Videos shared on social media show Hyuna performing her 2011 hit "Bubble Pop!" when she suddenly collapsed. Two backup dancers quickly assisted her, and she was then carried offstage by security.
Hyuna, a former member of K-pop groups including Wonder Girls, 4Minute, and Triple H, later addressed the incident on Instagram.
“I’m truly sorry,” she wrote in Korean. “It was only a short time since my last performance, but I wanted to show you my best side.”
She added that she had no memory of fainting and expressed regret toward the Macau fans who had paid to see her show.
“I’ll try to build up my stamina and work hard consistently,” Hyuna said. “It will be so great if everything goes my way, but I’ll try my best.”
Hyuna apologized for her fainting at Waterbomb Macau, assuring fans she is fine and committed to improving her stamina for future performances.
