Tom Cruise shared his enthusiasm on Instagram on November 6, revealing he attended a screening of his "Top Gun: Maverick" co-star Glen Powell's latest movie, The Running Man. The two actors have developed a close friendship since working together on the 2022 blockbuster.
The 63-year-old "Mission: Impossible" star posted photos from the event, showing him and Powell, 37, holding popcorn boxes featuring the movie’s title and an image of Powell running. They appeared joyful, with Cruise resting his hand on Powell’s shoulder.
Another picture captured Cruise alongside more of the film's cast, including Coleman Domingo, Lee Pace, Emilia Jones, and director Edgar Wright, all posing with popcorn buckets inside the theater.
“Another great night out with my friends at the movies! You guys crushed it, congratulations! I laughed, was on the edge of my seat and ate way too much popcorn,” Cruise wrote.
Cruise has shown continued support for Powell’s projects, having attended the London premiere of Powell’s film Twisters in July 2024.
