Jetstar Adds New Flights to Most Popular Destination in the World via Singapore

Jetstar Adds Direct Sunshine Coast–Bali Flights via Singapore

Jetstar (JQ) will launch direct flights between Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY) and Bali’s Denpasar Airport (DPS) starting 25 March 2026, with one-way fares from $199. The route will operate three times weekly on Airbus A321LR aircraft.

This new service will allow Sunshine Coast travellers to reach Bali and connect onward to Singapore (SIN) through Denpasar, removing the need to travel to Brisbane (BNE) for international flights. With roughly 70,000 seats per year, Jetstar aims to make international travel more accessible for South-East Queensland residents.

Jetstar CEO Stephanie Tully called the launch “an easy international getaway” and noted that it strengthens the airline’s network expansion to meet the rising demand for affordable travel.

The new Sunshine Coast–Bali link marks Jetstar’s first direct connection between these destinations and the tenth route from Australia to Bali. The journey will take about six hours each way, providing a convenient and low-cost option for travelers seeking tropical holidays.
