MOL Takes Delivery of 210,000 DWT LNG Dual-Fuel Bulk Carrier
On November 5, China State Shipbuilding Corporation’s Beihai Shipbuilding, in cooperation with China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC), held a delivery and naming ceremony for the fourth 210,000 DWT LNG dual-fuel bulk carrier RURI EARTH, built for Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL).
This vessel serves as the flagship of the first four ships constructed by Beihai Shipbuilding for MOL, marking the successful completion of their initial project together.
Technical Features and Design
- Designed by China Ship Design & Research Center Co., Ltd. (CSDC).
- Overall length: 299.95 meters.
- Beam (width): 50 meters.
- Equipped with an LNG dual-fuel propulsion system meeting the latest International Maritime Organization (IMO) environmental standards.
