In a recent update following Zalando's Q3 results, UK retail giant Marks & Spencer (M&S) revealed it has enhanced its logistics agreement with Zalando. This move aims to improve delivery times across continental Europe.
Since 2022, M&S has partnered with Zalando alongside About You and Amazon to fulfill orders across Europe. Starting early next year, Zalando’s B2B logistics solution, ZEOS, will handle M&S’s entire online direct-to-consumer business in continental Europe.
Zalando has similar logistics partnerships with UK retailer Next, highlighting a clear trend among British businesses seeking to expand efficiently into mainland European markets by leveraging Zalando’s expertise.
M&S reported a rapid surge in online sales, with Zalando-related sales increasing by 131% last quarter compared to the previous year. The enhanced collaboration through ZEOS will cover 21 markets and optimize inventory management.
“The new partnership using the German firm’s ZEOS operation will serve 21 markets.”
“Creating one single stock pool as well as an advanced order management system for Fashion, Home & Beauty products.”
The expanded logistics deal between M&S and Zalando will significantly boost delivery speeds and inventory efficiency for M&S’s European online business.
