EDGE Goes Full-Spectrum With 42 New Autonomous, Smart, and Space Systems

EDGE goes full-spectrum at Dubai Airshow 2025

EDGE unveiled 42 new systems spanning autonomous aerial platforms, smart weapons, propulsion, space assets, radar, and secure communications, emphasizing a layered approach to defense across sensors, shooters, and networks. The launch marks one of the group’s most extensive product reveals to date, showcased at Dubai Airshow 2025 to bolster the UAE’s defense capabilities. The lineup covers autonomy, precision weapons, propulsion, space, sensors, and secure communications.

Autonomous and unmanned systems

Leading the autonomous slate is Omen, a hover-to-cruise autonomous air vehicle developed under the EDGE-Anduril Production Alliance. It delivers Group 3 endurance and payload capacity without requiring a runway, and operates on Anduril’s Lattice AI software. JERNAS-M expands EDGE’s medium-altitude, long-endurance UAS offerings with persistent intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) and precision-strike options. VORTEX-E introduces a controlled counter-UAS interceptor designed to minimize collateral damage. STRIKE is a rugged fixed-wing weapon carrier that extends tactical reach for medium-altitude missions.

Smart weapons and munitions

EDGE rolled out new generation weapons designed for longer reach and quicker adaptation. The WSM-1 is a long-range cruise-strike weapon with hardened navigation and AI-assisted terminal retargeting. THUNDER-ER upgrades legacy munitions into smart stand-off weapons, extending reach while reducing lifecycle costs. DARKWING is a modular autonomous strike system that supports air or ground launch with interchangeable seekers and payloads.

Propulsion, space, and sensors

In addition to autonomous platforms and weapons, the product lineup includes propulsion and space systems, along with radar and secure communications capabilities, forming an integrated defense architecture that links sensors to shooters within secure networks.
