Alan Carr Flees to the US Ahead of Celebrity Traitors Final

Alan Carr revealed that he has escaped to the United States ahead of the final episode of Celebrity Traitors, airing Thursday. The 49-year-old comedian is one of the last two Traitors remaining on the popular BBC reality show, alongside singer Cat Burns, 25.

Carr has gained attention on social media for his sharp one-liners and his cheerful, giggly personality. Despite this, he joked about being the “most hated man in the UK” and said he fled to Orlando, Florida, with his nephew and niece to avoid negative attention.

“I'm the most hated man in the UK, I've had to come here to Orlando to get away from it. Everyone hates me!” Carr said during a chat with Heart radio hosts Olly Murs and Mark Wright.

The Chatty Man star explained that the daily stress of “murdering” on the show has taken a toll on his relationships:

“I just needed to get away because it's stressful murdering every day. My Christmas card list is getting smaller and smaller.”

During the interview, Olly Murs playfully suggested that Carr should dress as a Traitor while visiting Universal Studios theme park, mentioning the availability of Traitors-style capes at Harry Potter World.

Carr responded with humor, saying he came for a break and joked about riding the water slide at Universal's Volcano Bay while wearing the cape and carrying a Traitors lantern.

“I've come here for a break!” he said.

Additionally, Carr recently revealed that his close friend Paloma Faith is “not happy” with his behaviour on Traitors.
