Influencer Culture Drama ‘Early Days’ Unveils First Teaser
The first teaser for Early Days, an Indian drama exploring influencer culture, has been released ahead of its world premiere at the Red Sea International Film Festival. Set in Mumbai, the film delves into the challenges faced by a young couple navigating love, ambition, and survival while suddenly thrust into social media visibility.

Early Days is an India-Singapore co-production directed by Priyankar Patra, marking his feature directorial debut. It has been chosen for the New Visions Competition at the Red Sea Festival, scheduled for December. The film offers a timely examination of relationships in the digital age, blending cinematic realism with social media aesthetics to reveal “what happens when life itself becomes performance.”
Director’s Vision
“I wanted to tell a story that feels intimate but universal,” said Priyankar Patra, who has experience producing several international festival films under the For Films banner.
Production Team
- Executive Producer: Aditya Vikram Sengupta, whose film Labour of Love won an award at Venice. He also produced Once Upon A Time In Calcutta, where Patra contributed as a producer.
- Co-Producers: Isabella Sreyashii Sen and Olivier Dock, co-CEOs of Singapore’s Hazelnut Media, oversee global distribution for the project.
