PHOENIX — Jalen Green made a strong debut for the Phoenix Suns, scoring 29 points in a 115–102 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night. Devin Booker contributed 24 points as the Suns handled a short-handed Clippers team.
The Clippers dropped their third straight game, missing James Harden for personal reasons and Kawhi Leonard due to a right ankle sprain. Ivica Zubac led Los Angeles with 23 points and 11 rebounds.
Bradley Beal, in his return to Phoenix, was 2 for 14 from the field and ended with just five points.
Once a Suns player for two seasons, Beal was often sidelined by injuries. The Phoenix crowd booed him during introductions and whenever he handled the ball.
Jalen Green’s impressive debut powered Phoenix past a depleted Clippers team, marking a statement win fueled by sharp shooting and third-quarter dominance.
