The English-language version of the acclaimed animated film [translate:Arco] includes voices from Natalie Portman, Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Flea, Mark Ruffalo, and Andy Samberg. Neon, which acquired the film after its French-language premiere at Cannes as a Special Screening, has released the trailer for this re-voiced edition.
Directed by French illustrator Ugo Bienvenue, [translate:Arco] tells the story of a 10-year-old rainbow child and time traveler who accidentally lands in the year 2075. There, he encounters a planet facing a crisis. He befriends a young girl named Iris and Mikki, her loyal robot caretaker. Together, they embark on a journey to bring Arco home and possibly save the Earth.
Natalie Portman produced the film alongside Sophie Mas under their joint venture, MountainA, which operates between Paris and New York. They partnered with director Ugo Bienvenue and Félix de Givry from Paris-based studio Remembers.
