Sources indicate that the teaser for Marvel’s next big ensemble movie will be showcased before Avatar: Fire and Ash, the latest entry in Disney’s blockbuster franchise. If plans remain unchanged, audiences can see the trailer starting December 19.
This timing aligns closely with James Cameron’s Pandora sequel, which hits theaters about a year prior to Doomsday, on December 18, 2026.
With new Marvel films like Thunderbolts and The Fantastic Four: First Steps launching this year, the groundwork is laid for Avengers: Doomsday to follow, culminating the larger story arc.
Earlier this year, Marvel stirred excitement by revealing actor chairs for the blockbuster, hinting at the return of several X-Men characters from the 20th Century Fox era. Despite this, the cast remains in the dark regarding many crossover details.
Alan Cumming, reprising his role as Nightcrawler, said, “I began filming before the script was finished.”
