Remembrance Day: Road Closures Across the West Midlands
As communities across the West Midlands prepare to commemorate Remembrance Sunday, several towns and boroughs will close roads to ensure safety during parades and ceremonies honoring those who gave their lives for the country.
Road Closures on Sunday, November 9
Between 10:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
- Bow Street from the junction with A41 up to Methodist Church
- A41 from Oxford Street Island to the junction of Walsall Street and Mount Pleasant
Between 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Selected local streets will be closed temporarily to allow commemorative events to proceed safely.
Between 10:30 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.
- Princes Square closed for twenty minutes during the remembrance procession
Communities across the region will gather to remember those who lost their lives for their country.
