Alex de Minaur has pulled out hurt during the China Open final in Beijing on Tuesday, giving up the match to Novak Djokovic. The Australian was competing strongly before stepping away from the court.
De Minaur described his performance before the retirement as "really positive" and said he will travel to Shanghai for scans to assess the damage. Djokovic claimed the title by default.
