Miguel Díaz-Canel addressed crowds in Havana the US is attempting to destroy Cuba’s political system.
He said Washington wants complete control across Cuba.
Díaz-Canel described US policies a form of political genocide during July 26 events.
He emphasised this is a danger to Cuba’s right to govern.
Raúl Castro was absent from the biggest rally.
Tensions remain high as a result of sanctions and US political pressure.
