London police located a young marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff spotted the helpless animal on July 18. The animal was scared and had no food while trembling. It survived the difficult ordeal. Animal advocates described it an criminal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers identified a previously unknown monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery emerged during a routine survey in the Congo Basin.
