Latest News About Nissan recalls X‑Trail over steering fault

Nissan announced a recall for its X‑Trail SUV. The recall covers a fault in the steering column that might impact control. A 2025 model in dark metallic is listed for sale online at about AU$45,000. The 2026 version adds Google built‑in technology and an adventure trim. Auto Express reported that the upgrades seem modest in use. Nissan says spare components will be supplied free of charge.

The company also unveiled the Tekton SUV designed for India and Africa. Is set for production at Nissan’s Japanese plant for overseas sales to ship abroad. A launch in South Africa is expected soon.
