The Pokémon GO Fest 2026 launch includes a global timed research called “Genetic Mastery”. The research highlights Mega Mewtwo X. Polygon, Insider Gaming and Sportskeeda have published the objectives, challenges and prizes in the quest. Completing the research unlocks exclusive items and the chance to snag Mega Mewtwo X in raid battles.
The two‑day event runs Saturday through Sunday. On Sunday players are able to join 5‑star raids and mega‑level raids featuring the new Mega Mewtwo X. Mein‑MMO noted the schedule and loot for the two days. The event also grants extra experience and boosted capture chances across every creature during the two‑day period.
