Isolated storms are bubbling up across Central Texas on Thursday, Aug. 27. Parts of the Austin area might see some rain. KXAN and FOX 7 Austin both flagged the chance of showers. The storms are spotty and could bring showers to any neighborhood.
Later Thursday night, skies could clear enough for residents to see a lunar eclipse. The blood moon will be in view if conditions allow. The eclipse is due after the rain. Residents who hope to catch it should look for clearing skies. The weather and the eclipse are both part of the same night.
