European Commission Considers Ukraine’s Participation in GOVSATCOM
On October 28, the European Commission proposed that EU member states approve negotiations with Ukraine regarding its involvement in the EU’s government satellite communication program, GOVSATCOM.
About GOVSATCOM
The GOVSATCOM platform offers secure satellite communication by pooling satellite resources from EU member states and private European operators. It provides access to capacities from countries owning governmental satellite assets, including France, Italy, Spain, and Luxembourg, alongside private operators.
