According to the post, this year the site features over 300 plots of commemorative crosses. Since 1928, people have gathered there to plant crosses in memory of their loved ones who served in war.
For the solemn occasion, Her Majesty wore a tailored navy coat with gold buttons and shoulder detailing. She completed her look with black gloves and a red hat decorated with a feather and poppy pins, creating an elegant and symbolic contrast.
